Deb Dunn
PT, DPT, OCS

Deb has practiced in the Upstate of South Carolina for most of her career as a physical therapist and is thrilled to be so warmly welcomed back to North Carolina. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and went on to complete residency training in orthopedics to become a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).

Deb has always been fascinated by the body and its resilience in the face of injury, dysfunction, and pain. She is an avid hiker and practices weightlifting, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and soccer to stay active and healthy – these have led to their fair share of injuries and Deb has been able to return to each activity stronger and more adaptable than before.

Deb approaches treatment from a whole person mindset – you are not just your injured body part. She recognizes that the body’s ability to truly thrive only occurs when the whole person is considered and addressed. She uses evidence-based practices to treat a wide variety of neuromusculoskeletal complaints including acute and chronic spine dysfunction, joint pain, and athletic injury.

Deb is certified in trigger point dry needling and has additional training in concussion management and vestibular disorders. Deb’s favorite part of physical therapy is helping her clients return to the activities they love without pain or fear of injury.
